Earlier this week we published our article on the Best 12 Beaches in Thailand, today we look at the Best Beaches in Vietnam.
Not always the first place many people think of when you think about the world’s best beaches, Vietnam and its 2,000 miles of coastline has a number of exceptional beach destinations.
Don’t forget to check out our Covid-19 Travel Insurance Guide if you are planning to travel or book your next trip.
My Khe Beach, Da Nang
A massive length of beach with powder soft, south of Da Nang popular with Vietnamese as well as foreign tourists.
Excellent for a relaxing day sunbathing or a wide range of watersports, with some excellent seafood restaurants doted along its length.
Long Beach, Phu Quoc
A 20km stretch of sand that offers incredible sunsets.
The beach remains relatively unspoilt although it is starting to see the effects of tourism especially when the sea brings in rubbish, especially plastics.
There are a wide range of tourist facilities available which means that restaurants, bars and other related facilities are never too far away
Nha Trang Beach, Nha Trang
Possibly the most famous of all Vietnamese Beaches, stunningly beautiful with the city as a backdrop means there is something for everyone.
White powder sand on a beach that offers watersports including access to some excellent diving and snorkeling.

Mui Ne Beach, Phan Thiet
An excellent beach for swimming, not always the case in some areas, and a centre for kitesurfing.
Fringed by sand dunes and with many upmarket resorts, the traditional village still exists offering a fine contrast.
Star Beach, Phu Quoc
Another wonderful beach that does suffer from rubbish washing up during certain weather conditions.
Quieter than Long Beach but not lacking in facilities, the sea is deep blue and sand white and powdery.
Quy Nhon Beach, Binh Dinh
Much quieter than many beach towns means more space for those that make the trip to relax on this wonderful beach.
A relaxed atmosphere and a number of luxury resorts add to the charm of the area.
An Bang Beach, Hoi An
Just north of Hoi An, An Bang has managed to avoid the erosion that has affected Cua Dai Beach closer to the city.
Quieter than Cua Dai but with a number of hotels and resorts, restaurants and bars still available.
Con Son Island, Con Dao
Not one but a series of beaches on this island within the Con Dao archipelago offer tranquility, relaxation ans stunning beaches.
A mecca for scuba diving and snorkelers, with excellent land activities as well make this an adventure seekers paradise.
