Vinpearl have announced that Vietnam’s first “sleepless resort complex” will open in Phu Quoc on 21st April.
The Phu Quoc United Center is located in the north of the island has costed around $2.8 billion (approx £2 billion) and covers over 1,000 hectares. The resort includes more than 10,000 hotel rooms and a number of existing and new attractions.

The resort includes Vietnam’s largest theme park, VinWonders Phu Quoc, plus an animal conservation park, 18-hole Golf Course, a shopping and entertainment precinct, MICE facilities, multimedia shows, 24-hour street markets and a hospital.
Hotels are designed to meet the requirements of Vietnamese and international visitors from mini hotels through to 5-star hotels.
Hotel brands include Vinpearl (Vinpearl Discovery Greenhill Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Discovery Wonderworld Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Resort & Golf Phu Quoc and Vinpearl Discovery Coastalland Phu Quoc), VinOasis ( VinOasis Phu Quoc), VinHoliday (Vinholidays Fiesta Phu Quoc) and Radisson Blu( Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc.
The hotels complex will also include conference and convention facilities to help attract large business events and travellers.
One of the main attractions is VinWonders Phu Quoc which opened in April 2020 and is billed as the largest theme park in southeast Asia covering 55 hectares with a number of themed lands, rides, shows and other entertainment attractions.
The Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is the largest semi-wild animal conservation park in Southeast Asia and is the home for more than 4,000 animals from nearly 200 species.
The park follows a “free animals, captive people” model from all geo-biological regions of the world.
Animals include Bengal Tiger, Arabian antelope, black and white lemur, giraffe, flamingo and pangolin.
The park has animal welfare conditions rated as the best in the region and approach to world standards by the South East Asian Zoos Association (SEAZA).
Other attractions include an 18-hole championship golf course.
The Grand World shopping city covers an area of 85 hectares and features a number of busy streets, festival activities and entertainment centres which are operated 24/7.
The area is themed with architecture and entertainment focusing on areas such as Venice (including canals), Shanghai, Vietnam, Kstreet and night market.
Festivals planned include Nghinh Ong Festival, Nguyen Trung Truc Festival and a Boat Racing Festival. Carnivals are planned around those found in Thailand, India, America, Germany and Mexico.
The Corona Casino resort has been open since 2019 and is the only casino in Vietnam that is allowed to cater for Vietnamese gamblers.
The casino has 100 table games plus 1,000 slot machines and another 1,000 electronic gaming machines.
