Reports from multiple sources suggests that Thailand is looking into establishing Travel Bubbles with other ASEAN countries who have controlled the Covid-19 virus.
The reports state that The Thai Sports and Tourism Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn has said that talks are already underway with Singapore and that countries such as Laos and Vietnam could be next.
Singapore has been at the forefront of travel bubbles, green lanes and travel corridors in the region and are an obvious choice to begin the project.
It is thought that the travel bubble could start from October.
It is not clear how these plans would relate to other travel plans in Thailand as quarantine free travel is already planned for vaccinated tourists in Phuket from July and five other provinces from October.
