The Singapore – Hong Kong Travel Bubble was due to start on 22nd November last year. An increase in Covid-19 cases in Hong Kong delayed the start which has still yet to happen.
Finally talks have begun to launch the travel bubble.
Earlier today Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said that she expects an early agreement between the two countries and that there would be no requirement for travellers to have received a vaccine prior to visiting Singapore.
Singapore continues to look at travel arrangements with suitable countries, those with low infection and high vaccination rates and hopes to have agreements in place for later in 2021.
