Samui Tourism Plan On Track For July

Preparations for the Koh Samui “Sealed Route”, due to start on 15th July, are progressing well.

The “Sealed Route” will see foreign tourists return to the island, plus Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, without the need for a mandatory quarantine, although restrictions will still remain.

Arrivals will need to have completed a full course of Covid-19 vaccinations at least 14 days prior to arrival, undertake a series of tests while on the island and have restrictions on their movements initially. Phuket Sandbox and Koh Samui Sealed route Information.

The three islands are due to receive a further 100,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine to enable them to achieve the required 70% of population being fully inoculated prior to 15th July.
