The Asia category of the 2021 World Travel Awards have been announced and a number of Thailand hotels have picked up awards.
The awards means that the winners are in line to win the overall World Awards which will be announced later in the year.
The winners were voted for by travel industry professionals and members of the public.

Before we look at the successful hotels however, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has won two major awards this year.
The Land of Smiles has been named as Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination 2021, beating off competition from Cambodia, India & Vietnam.
Thailand was also named Asia’s Leading Youth Travel Destination 2021 ahead of other nominees Cambodia, Laos & Vietnam.
A number of highly significant awards have been won by hotels in Bangkok this year.

The Tower Club is just a few floors from The Dome—lebua’s sky-high selection of celebrated restaurants and bars.

The Village Coconut Island has become Asia’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2021.
