Bali is the most famous tourist destination in Indonesia but there is much more to the country than just this incredible island.

Lombok is a wonderful throwback to the paradise that was Bali before mass tourism and is worth visiting either as the primary destination or as an add on to Bali.

Laos

Kuang Si Waterfall, Laos

There are still very few people visiting Laos compared to the rest of the region so expect a more authentic experience that you will see in many countries that have become focused more on tourists.

The country has wonderful landscapes, stunning temples and a laid back charm that will appeal to anyone not looking for a party atmosphere.

Most people will take a tour of the country or as part of a wider Southeast Asia tour rather than heading to just one holiday location.

Singapore

Many people visit Singapore for a few days as part of a stop on their way to, or from, another destination, utilising the excellent air hub. However this small sovereign state has more to offer and is becoming more of a destination in its own right.

Singapore has stunning skylines, world class shopping and entertainment, a superb range of food from street food to world class restaurants and excellent beaches.

Malaysia
