Singapore Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL)


The Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) enables visitors who are fully vaccinated from certain countries/regions to enter Singapore for any purpose. Visitors will not have to serve a stay-home notice in Singapore.

Unvaccinated children aged 12 and below will be eligible to enter Singapore on the VTL. They are not required to apply for a VTP but must comply with all other VTL conditions and be accompanied by a fully vaccinated VTL traveller.

Please note that visitors must:

  • Be fully vaccinated at least 14 days after receiving the full regime of Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna or WHO EUL Vaccines, and present proof of vaccination issued, before intended date of entry
  • Be in one or more of the Vaccinated Travel Lane countries in the last 14 consecutive days prior to departure to Singapore
  • Take designated Vaccinated Travel Lane flights
  • Undergo two PCR tests, one within 48 hours before departing, and one upon arrival in Singapore
  • Self-isolate upon arrival until a negative PCR test result is out

Vaccinations Accepted


Travellers are considered fully vaccinated if they meet the following conditions at least 2 weeks before arrival in Singapore:

  • Received the full regimen of WHO EUL Vaccines (below), from a specific manufacturer, and
  • Met the minimum dose interval period.

If you do not meet any of the above requirements, you are not considered fully vaccinated with WHO EUL vaccines.

*The ingestion of the Covaxin vaccination record into the National Immunisation Registry (NIR) will be made after 12 November 2021.



Before Your Trip To Singapore


Apply For A Vacinated Travel Pass

Short-term travellers must apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass between 7 and 30 calendar days prior to the intended arrival date.

Apply For A Visa (if applicable)

Visitors who require a visa for travel to Singapore must also obtain a valid visa after receiving their Vaccinated Travel Pass approval, before departing for Singapore. They are encouraged to apply for their Vaccinated Travel Pass early. Check if you need a visa and application process.

Stay In Country of Departure For 14 Days

Visitors must have remained in one or more of the VTL countries* in the last 14 consecutive days prior to departure to Singapore

Book Designated VTL Flight

Visitors must travel into Singapore via designated Vaccinated Travel Lane flights.

Arrange Self-Isolation Accommodation

An isolation period is required while waiting for the on-arrival COVID-19 PCR result. Visitors must isolate alone, or with household members who are vaccinated and have the same travel history, arrival date, and self-isolation requirement. The visitor must isolate himself in an accommodation that has an individual room with an attached toilet (if there are other occupants in the accommodation).

Submit Singapore Arrival Card

Submissions of health, travel history, and accommodation declarations should be made no earlier than 3 days before the arrival date. It can be submitted through Visit Singapore Travel Guide or SG Arrival Card (SGAC) e-Service.

Take COVID-19 PCR test 48 hours before departure

Visitors must take a COVID-19 PCR test 48 hours before departure at a recognised laboratory, clinic, or medical facility designated by the government of a counterpart country/region and obtain a certificate for a negative COVID-19 test. More details

Register for on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test

Visitors should also register and make payment for their on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test prior to departing for Singapore.

Download TraceTogether App

Visitors are required to download and register their profile on the TraceTogether app to aid contact tracing.

Purchase COVID-19 insurance policy

Prior to travelling to Singpore, vistors will need to have travel insurance for their COVID-19-related medical treatment and hospitalisation costs in Singapore, with a minimum coverage of S$30,000.



On Arrival In Singapore


Prepare For Immigration Clearance

On arrival, the visitor must present to the immigration officer:

  • Valid Vaccinated Travel Pass (electronic or physical copy);
  • Valid vaccination certificate (electronic or physical copy);
  • Valid pre-departure COVID-19 PCR test result certificate (electronic or physical copy) in English
  • Valid visa (if applicable)
  • Electronic or physical copy of travel insurance policy

[Please note that SIM card purchase (if needed), mobile phone rental, or purchase of SGD should be done in the airport transit area prior to clearing immigration]

Undergo COVID-19 PCR test

All visitors are required to undergo an on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test. They are not permitted to enter any retail or food & beverage establishments, or procure any goods and services at the airport, including Jewel Changi Airport. 


Following the test, visitors must immediately take private transport, taxi, or private hire car to their declared accommodation. They must remain in isolation until a negative test result is out. The use of public transportation is not allowed.

Wait for result at approved accommodation

Visitors must remain in isolation at the accommodation until they receive notification (within 24 hours) of a negative test result.


During You Stay In Singapore


All visitors must:

  • Wear mask in public areas except when dining or exercising
  • Keep TraceTogether app running
  • Gather in groups of up to 2
  • Dine-in allowed in groups of up to 2*
  • Maintain 1 metre distance

*Groups of up to 2 fully vaccinated persons allowed to dine-in at F&B establishments. Up to 2 persons (if all are vaccinated) can dine in at hawker centres and coffeeshops; provision for children 12 years and below applies.

If You Feel Unwell

Visit a Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC) immediately. You should commute to the clinic using private hire cars or taxis, but not public transport. Some clinics in Singapore, including the Raffles Medical Group (+65 6311 1222) offer round-the-clock COVID-19 tests and treatment.
